METAPWR Trudie completed her MetaPWR Course June 4th 2017. MetaPWR is the long awaited new power circuit class using functional equipment and exercises to work muscles and boost metabolism. Think "Metafit" HIIT training using equipment such as kettlebells, dumbbells, battle ropes, medballs and sandbags.
Trudie is already a qualified Metafit trainer and is passionate about this new addition to the timetable. Metafit is a total body weight HIIT class (high intensity interval training) including plyometrics. The workouts range from 18-27 minutes and are performed to music with varying work to rest ratios. A class which will get results, fast! Boosts metabolism, increases strength, power and muscle tone! Trudie downloads new workouts each month so you will never be bored. This class finishes with flexibility work with static stretches and use of rollers to release tight muscles to aid in reducing muscle soreness and increase blood circulation for effective recovery. Total class time is 35-40 minutes & suitable for all fitness levels (a good base of fitness is recommended). Trudie runs Female only and Mixed Metafit classes.
This session includes resistance work, short cardio and higher intensity intervals, and boxing. This session may include other equipment such asfree weights, medballs, resistance tubes, and kettlebells as well as other fun items like skipping ropes, ladders, hurdles, tennis balls, balance domes and battle ropes. A great class designed to improve your speed-endurance, cardiovascular endurance, agility, power, tone muscles, increase strength and burn plenty of calories. Work big muscle groups and multiple joints in functional, compound movements. This class finishes with flexibility work with static stretches/rollers to release tight muscles to aid in reducing muscle soreness and increase blood circulation for effective recovery. Class time is 45 minutes & suitable for all fitness levels.
Box & Tone
Boxing sets are mixed with body resistance exercises performed to music. This class will get those heart rates up, burn calories and is great for stress relief. Resistance sets include functional, compound exercises using multiple joints and muscle groups at a time to increase overall strength for daily tasks. This is a great class for muscle toning, improving core strength and increasing cardiovascular fitness. This class finishes with flexibility work with static stretches/rollers to aid recovery and reduce muscle tightness. Class time is 1 hour & suitable for all fitness levels.
(This class is run as part of the Cross-Train Session, every 3-4 weeks)
Cardio & BWT
This session will include cardio sets and body weight resistance exercises. A fun and challenging workout designed to improve your cardiovascular fitness, increase lean muscle mass (tone) and increase metabolism. If you enjoy the demand of short cardio bursts and want to increase your mental and physical strength, this class is for you! And, enjoy the views of beautiful Dutchies beach while you train. Class time is 45 minutes & suitable for all fitness levels.
